I Love this Ceramic Birdbath that Looks Like Bronze

These days manufacturing bird baths and distributing wild bird feeders is serious business and you’ll find them made from a huge range of materials and in and endless variation of  designs. The original concrete birdbaths have spawned ceramics, brass, copper and fiberglass versions including pedestals made from iron, brass, stone or copper. And of course there are also lots of different hanging birdbaths.  But one of best I’ve viewed in quite a while is this Bronze Shell Ceramic Bird Bath.  It’s a plus to own a bird bath that looks great and can also be relocated around your yard. That’s hard to do with rock.

I’ve heard that the first bird baths were found along the Northern coast of the Mediterranean and date from Roman Times.  Looks like  we’ve been trying to attract our feathered friends into our lives for a while.  What ever it is that they bring into our lives, our generation is not the first to notice or appreciate it and we won’t be the last. Aside from the aesthetic impact of where you locate your birdbaths or bird feeders there are usually practical things worth remembering, too.  Baths & feeders should be put out with some open room around them so that the neighborhood felines won’t hide and spring out from the bushes.  Find a good spot in your garden and you’ll find that the birds will make it a more lively place.
